Clays bearing plant cuticles were collected near Rubielos de Mora (Teruel,
Spain) in levels belonging to the Escucha Formation (Albian). Plant remains
are dominated by conifers: Brachyphyllum, Pagiophyllum, Frenelopsis, Class
ostrobus, Agarhoxylon. Pseudocycas (Bennettitales) and Nehvizdya (Ginkgoale
s) are mentioned for the first time in the Lower Cretaceous of Spain.
