V. Kozich et al., Light-induced inhomogeneous broadening in dye solution probed by wave-mixing with broadband lasers, OPT COMMUN, 171(1-3), 1999, pp. 125-130
Time-delayed wave-mixing with broadband dye lasers was performed in a solut
ion of Sulforhodamine 640 in ethanol at room temperature. The experiments w
ere conducted at various laser powers. The results at low intensities show
the behavior of the S-0-S-1 transition as homogeneous. At high intensities
the transition reveals inhomogeneous broadening which is attributed to the
redistribution of the vibrational population. (C) 1999 Published by Elsevie
