Abstract
A semiempirical quantum-chemical AM I method was used to develop a new appr oach to the determination of a cone angle at the phosphorus atom in phospho rous acid derivatives. The influence of the steric parameter of the phospho rus center on the structures of the products of Pd(II) coordination with am idophosphites and aminophosphites is considered.
