Abstract
1-Aryl-3-iodo-2-thiocyanatopropanes were synthesized by reaction of arenedi azonium tetrafluoroborates with allyl iodide in the presence of sodium thio cyanate and copper salts. The regioselectivity of this reaction is the same as in the reactions with allyl chloride and allyl bromide.
