The effect of 3d and 4d element complexes with ethylenediamine and N,N'-eth
ylenediaminetetraacetic acid on the rate of AgHlg --> Ag redox process in t
he preliminarily photoactivated matrices was studied. In the analysis of th
is effect the most decisive is the energy of stabilization of given complex
in the ligand field. The correlation of the degree of this effect and stab
ilization energy was evaluated.
