Abstract
Alkylthio(chloro)acetylenes react with bis(2-phenylethyl)phosphine under mi ld conditions (10-20 degrees C, dioxane) to form [bis(2-phenylethyl)] [2-(a lkylthio)ethynyl]phosphonium chlorides and the products of their further tr ansformations involving oligomerization and dehydrochlorination.
