Abstract
A thermodynamic analysis of reagent solvation on the rational scale was per formed for the purpose of a quantitative comparison of the roles played by aqueous-organic solvents (water-methanol, water-2-propanol, and water-aceto nitrile) in complex formation equilibria between sodium and potassium ions and 18-crown-6 and dibenzo-18-crown-6.
