Abstract
Na2CaP2O7 has been prepared in single crystal form bf fusion techniques, Th c:single crystal structure: (a) under bar=5.361(3), (b) under bar=7.029(3), (c) under bar=8.743(4) Angstrom, alpha=69.40(2), beta=89.02(3), gamma=88.7 8(4)degrees, V=308.5(3)Angstrom(3), space group P1 bar, Z=2, D-calc=2.799 m g/m(3), R/R-W = 0.0445/0.0554 for 1434 observed reflections (F>4.0 sigma(F) , shows a solid state form similar to that of K2SrP2O7, K2MnP2O7 and K2CdP2 O7.
