Abstract
2,2-Dimethyl-2,3-dihydrofuran is tested as a new substrate for the intermol ecular asymmetric Heck reaction. Phenylation proceeded in enantioselectivit ies of up to 98% ee with Pd-0 complexes of diphenylphosphinoferrocenyloxazo line ligands. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
