Abstract
The problem of testing the homogeneity of k (k greater than or equal to 2) mean time between failures (MTBF) vs, multiple t-slippage alternatives (1 l ess than or equal to t < k) has been considered for the one parameter expon ential distribution. The exact null distribution of a Bayes test has been d erived for selected values of k and t. Several approximations for computing the percentage points of the test statistic are also investigated.
