Abstract
The concept of factor space used in fuzzy information processing is investi gated. The composition of the states of factors, which is a basic tool in m ultifactorial decision making, is first considered. Then, a general model o f multifactorial decision making is formulated. Finally, multifactorial dec ision making with multiple objectives is introduced. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the approaches. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rig hts reserved.
