Abstract
This work discusses a straight forward way to implement arbitrarily shaped boundaries in fluid models for gas discharges. In most eases using a bounda ry-fitted numerical grid leads to complicated mathematics. We demonstrate h owever that it is also possible to represent arbitrarily shaped walls on a uniform grid as grid-fitted boundaries, provided that a correction for diff usional losses is taken into account.
