Abstract
We have performed first-principles calculations for crystalline Poly(p -phenylene vinylene). The frequency-dependent complex dielectric tenso r in the long-wavelength limit is determined showing good agreement wi th experimental data. The pronounced anisotropy is discussed and compa red to results for Poly(p-phenylene).
