Abstract
Electron-donor additives to eluents used for the reversed-phase HPLC determ ination of ecdysteroids considerably influence the chromatographic paramete rs in the separation of substances with close retention times. By the optim ization of separation factor (alpha) and peak resolution (R-s), a ternary H 2O-AcN-THF (100 : 16 : 4, v/v) system for reversed-phase HPLC that provides the selective separation of ecdysteroids was found.
