Abstract
Two types of neuron-like conducting polymers, polypyrrole, have been p
repared electrochemically. One is 2-dimensional growth type and anothe
r is 3-dimensional one. The former has consisted of more than two frac
tal conducting polymers and conductivity of the path between these fra
ctal conducting polymers has been controlled by doping and undoping us
ing the third electrode. The conductivity between the branches is depe
ndent on the duration time and the number of applied pulse to the thir
d electrode. In order to make non-linear function on this network, ano
ther conducting polymer has been prepared at connected branch. We sugg
est a new neuron-type conducting polymer device.
