Abstract
Semiconducting polymer heterostructures exhibiting quantum confinement effects were recently prepared in our laboratory by a self-assembly a pproach. Photoluminescence and photoluminescence excitation spectrosco pies as well as electric field-induced photoluminescence quenching hav e been used here to probe the effects of exciton confinement in the se lf-assembled semiconducting polymer quantum-well nanostructures.
