Abstract
A potential based panel method is developed to predict the partial cavity p ow on two-dimensional hydrofoil sections. The Dirichlet type dynamic bounda ry condition on the cavity surface and the Neumann type kinematic boundary condition on the wetted section surface al-e enforced, A re-entrant jet cav ity termination model is introduced. A validation is accomplished by compar ing the present calculations with cavitation experiments of a modified Jouk owsky foil and a NACA 66(MOD) a = 0.8 section.
