Abstract
Different varieties of fresh marine fin and shell fishes from the same catc h of Tuticorin waters were analyzed for polyaromatic hydrocarbons [PAHs] by HPLC. The results showed that chrysene followed by dibenzanthracene was pr esent in the majority of the samples analyzed. Benzo (a) pyrene was not det ected in the fishes.
