Abstract
The influence of one-dimensional spin-Peierls fluctuations on the temp erature dependent magnetic susceptibility of an antiferromagnetic chai n is calculated using the renormalization group and the functional-int egral methods. The results are shown to give an accurate description o f fluctuations effects found in recently synthesized organic spin-Peie rls compounds.
