Abstract
Among the solutions of the wave equation we make a distinction between the homogeneous and nonhomogeneous waves. For the first ones we use a two-dimensional-laplace transform and for the second ones a one-dimen sional-Laplace transform with respect to the proper time. We discuss t he behaviour of these waves and of their Laplace transform under the L orentz group.
