This paper investigated the curing process and mechanical properties of pro
tein based polymers made from soybeans. Soybean protein isolate mixed with
additives was used to fabricate test specimens. First, the flow-curing prop
erties of the soy-protein polymer were examined. Then, a curing procedure w
as designed based upon test results. Finally, the mechanical properties of
