Rc. Egeberg et al., The energy-band structure of porous silicon studied with photoluminescenceexcitation and photoacoustic spectroscopy, J POROUS MA, 7(1-3), 2000, pp. 173-176
Porous silicon has been studied with photoluminescence, photoluminescence e
xcitation, and photoacoustic spectroscopy. From the luminescence data, an e
nergy-level diagram related to the luminescence is constructed. The diagram
is confirmed in detail by the photoacoustic spectra. The results are discu
ssed with the conclusion that they are in good agreement with the surface-b
and oxyhydride-like emitter, which recently has been established as the sou
rce for the photoluminescence from porous silicon.
