Abstract
The concentration of Al in 440 food samples, measured with neutron activati on analysis, varies from 0.1 to 40.7 ppm. A typical Canadian absorbs 6.17 m g of Al daily due to his diet. Aluminum in food contributes from 12 to 20% of the total Al intake.
