Chiral 2,2'-methylene-bis[(4S)-4-tert-butyl-2-oxazoline] reacts with Ln[N(S
iHMe2)(2)](3) (thf)(2) (Ln = Y, La) via an extended silylamide route to yie
ld the first mono- and bis( bisoxazolinato) complexes, potentially relevant
to enantioselective catalysis.
