Abstract
The colour centres S-3(-) in ultramarine blue have been studied by EPR. Mea surements of the temperature dependence of the linewidth have shown that th e linewidth can be approximated by the formula: Delta B-pp = a + bT(7) whic h according to the Kronig's theory is describing the two-phonon Raman proce ss of the transfer of energy to the vibrations of the lattice.
