Abstract
Indium complexes [L(OMe)InTp][InCl4](4) and [L(OMe)InTp][PF6] (5) containin g the tripodal nitrogen ligand Tp(-){Tp(-) = hydrotris(pyrazol-2-yl)borate, [HB(pz)(3)](-)} and the tripodal oxygen ligand L-OMe(-)(L-OMe(-) = (cyclop entadienyl)tris(dimethylphosphito-P)cobaltate(1-), [eta(5)-(C5H5)Co{P(O)R-2 }(3)](-)) were synthesized in high yields. Compounds 4 and 5 are the first complexes with a fac-N3O3 coordination bearing both Klaui's and Trofimenko' s tripodal ligands. Their structure in solution was determined unambiguousl y by 2D H-1 NOESY NMR spectroscopy. Copyright (C) 1999 John Wiley & Sons, L td.
