Abstract
This paper aims at presenting a unified nonuniform cylindrical finite-diffe rence time-domain (NU-CFDTD) algorithm for the analysis of generalized cyli ndrical electromagnetic problems, which requires no need for splitting a co mputational volume into the FDTD and absorbing boundary regions. The algori thm is designed to be easy for coding and flexible in treating various mate rials without adding computational resources. The NU-CFDTD algorithm is val idated via a number of applications for cylindrical structures. (C) 2000 Jo hn Wiley & Sons, Inc.
