Abstract
New particulate bianisotropic compsites-the magnetostatically controlled bi anisotropic material (MCBMs)-recently have been conceptualized. It becomes clear. however, that the theoretical questions raised in recent publication s may be considered as interesting as such, but not very relevant as long a s experimental validation or at least some proof of principle is missing. T his paper gives the first experimental evidence of magnetoelectric coupling in a ferromagnetic resonator with a special form of surface metallization- a structural element of the proposed MCBMs. (C) 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc .
