Abstract
Planar Bilayer Lipid Membrane (BLM) was used as a model of liposome drug de livery system. By establishing the relations between membrane electrical pr operties and liposome characters, the behavior of liposomes in Various cond itions can be predicted by means of measuring sensitive electrical properti es of BLM. When different ratios of cholesterol incorporated into membranes , or Various quantities of detergents added into solutions, membrane resist ance (Rm) and capacitance (Cm) changed regularly. Results indicated that th ere exited obvious relations between membrane electrical properties and cha racters of liposomes, thus BLM can become a useful and simple method to stu dy liposome drug delivery system.
