In the framework of the neutrino oscillation scenario, we discuss the influ
ence of the uncertainty on the efficiency of the neutrino emitting reaction
s H-1(p, e(+) nu(e))H-2 and Be-7(p, gamma)B-8 for the neutrino oscillation
parameters. We consider solar models with zero-energy astrophysical S facto
rs S-11 and S-17 varied within nuclear physics uncertainties, and we test t
hem by means of helioseismic data. We then analyze the neutrino mixing para
meters and recoil electron spectra for the presently operating neutrino exp
eriments and predict the results which can be obtained from the recoil elec
tron spectra in Sudbury Neutrino Observatory and Borexino experiments. We s
uggest that it should be possible to determine tight bounds to S-17 from th
e results of the future neutrino experiment, in the case of matter-enhanced
oscillations of active neutrinos. [S0556-2821(99)00821-8].
