tau polarization asymmetry in B -> X-s tau(+) tau(-) in SUSY models with large tan beta - art. no. 115004

Rare B decays provide an opportunity lo probe for new physics beyond the st andard model. The effective Hamiltonian for the decay b --> sl(+)l(-) predi cts the characteristic polarization for the final state lepton. Lepton pola rization has, in addition to a longitudinal component P-L, two orthogonal c omponents P-T and P-N lying in and perpendicular to the decay plane. In thi s article we perform a study of the tau-polarization asymmetry in the case of SUSY models with large tan beta in the inclusive decay B --> X-s tau(+)t au(-). [S0556-2821(99)06221-9].
