Abstract
Three types of phototherapy and 2 forms of photochemotherapy are now availa ble for treatment of more than 40 diseases of the skin. Broadband ultraviol et B (UVB) phototherapy and oral psoralen photochemotherapy (PUVA) therapy are most widely available while there hers been increased interest in topic al PUVA therapy. Narrow-band UVB phototherapy and UVA-1 phototherapy offer potential for the future. Copyright (C) 1999 by W.B. Saunders Company.
