Abstract
The structures of complexes obtained by reacting acyl N-aminides and Z nCl2 were ascertained by X-ray analysis and were show to incorporate o ne Zn atom and two molecules of the N-aminide in a distorted tetrahedr al geometry. Bis-aminides act as bidentate ligands forming ZnLCl2 comp lexes. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
