Abstract
This article shares our experience as members of an HRD book group, with so
me practical startup tips, descriptions of different types of book groups,
and lessons learned about such groups. Mainly, membership in an HRD book gr
oup is an opportunity for self-directed learning in a social context, and i
t fosters a mindset for lifelong learning.
