Abstract
Data on the synthesis, reactions and structure of stable aromatic tellurols and sterically hindered tellurols containing E-TeH bonds (E = C, Si, Ge) a re systematised and generalised. Methods of preparation of various metal de rivatives of tellurols as well as applications of these derivatives for low -temperature synthesis of metal tellurides are reviewed.
