Abstract
Current state of research in the held of titanium and boron electrochemistr y and high-temperature electrochemical synthesis of titanium diboride and i ntermetallic compounds of titanium with if on triad metals are analysed. Th e prospects for the development of the research are discussed. Primary atte ntion is devoted to the electrochemical properties and stability of halide systems containing titanium in various oxidation states and boron.
