Phylogeny and biogeography of the genus Pseudectinosoma, and description of P-janineae sp n. (Crustacea, Copepoda, Ectinosomatidae)

Recent stygobiological investigations carried out in the circum-Mediterrane an area resulted in the discovery of a new species of the genus Pseudectino soma Kunz, described herein as P.janineae sp. n. The taxonomic status of th e genus is reviewed in a phylogenetic perspective.
