Abstract
A four-week basic course in geriatric medicine was developed, that is interdisciplinary and with many practical aspects. The participants ha ve rated the interdisciplinary concept very positively, at the end of the course and 13 months after the course. Interdisciplinary learning is possible, makes sense and promotes the necessary geriatric teamwork ; specific professional training can, however, not be substituted.
