Abstract
Recent studies have identified the transcription factor Pax5 as a critical determinant of commitment to the B lymphocyte pathway. Surprisingly, Pax5 a ppears to achieve this primarily through suppressing alternative haematopoi etic lineage fates. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
