I. Riess et al., PROBLEMS WITH HEBB-WAGNER POLARIZATION MEASUREMENTS DUE TO OVERPOTENTIALS AND DECOMPOSITION OF THE SAMPLE, Solid state ionics, 72, 1994, pp. 3-6
A four point Hebb-Wagner type polarization method is described. It all
ows (a) an accurate determination of the partial electronic conductivi
ty of a mixed ionic electronic conductor, MIEC, and (b) a check on whe
ther the ionic partial current is really suppressed. Measurements on C
uBr show that it decomposes and that the ionic current is dominant. Do
ping CuBr reveals that CuBr is an n-type MIEC.
