Abstract
Photorefractive two beam coupling gain and phase shift between light and re fractive index of reduced potassium niobate are calculated as a function of many physics parameters, in terms of one center charge transport model. It is found that the application of an electric field influences the charge t ransport and leads to an increased space charge field. Therefore, leads to a considerable coupling gain.
