Abstract
An example of train-substructure interaction is presented in this paper, wh ich deals with some experimental tests carried out on the third line of Mil an's subway. This line is mainly equipped with the 'Vienna' substructure, w hich is a double elastic layered one, with good performances in terms of no ise and vibration reduction, but sometimes exhibiting problems associated w ith its high compliance.
