Abstract
The data on shock compression of porous (p(00) = 0.8-4.0 g/cm(3)) and solid (p(0) = 4.51 g/cm(3)) titanium are given. At a pressure of 12.3 GPa, a pha se transition was registered under conditions of shock compression of solid samples. Experimental data are described by two types of equations of stat e.
