Abstract
Fourier transform infrared spectra of the v(1) bands of (DOBr)-Br-79 and (D OBr)-Br-81 have been recorded with a resolution of 0.0055 cm(-1) in the fre quency range of 2510-2800 cm(-1). A total of 1901 lines of the A/B hybrid-t ype bands of both isotopic species have been assigned and fitted to upper s tate rovibrational constants employing a Watson's S-reduced Hamiltonian up to sextic terms. The K-a greater than or equal to 4 subband transitions wer e found to be perturbed and were not included in the fit. The unperturbed b and centers for v(1) of (DOBr)-Br-79 and (DOBr)-Br-81 are 2668.79211 +/- 0. 00006 and 2668.78842 +/- 0.00005 cm(-1), respectively. The ratio of the vib rational dipole transition moments (mu(a):mu(b)) was found to be 1.30 +/- 0 .04 for the band, (C) 2000 Academic Press.
