Combined mass spectrometric and electron diffraction study of the overheate
d vapor over calcium dipivaloylmethanate was performed It was established t
hat one molecular form, Ca(DPM)(2), predominates in the vapor at 420-460 de
grees C. The r(a), r(g), and r(alpha) parameters of the Ca(DPM)(2), molecul
e were determined, and the symmetry of the molecule was found to be D-2d.
