Abstract
Wavelength-dependent complex refractive indices of turbid industrial liquid s with very high optical densities were obtained from the reflectance. The key factor was accurate 'anchor-point' detection by a surface-plasmon-reson ance technique. The anchor point is needed for the phase-retrieval procedur e, which is based on exploitation of the maximum-entropy method.
