Abstract
Making use of a selective mono-N-alkylation method for tetraazamacrocycles, through the cyclam phosphoryl intermediate, the synthesis of a new redox-a ctive ferrocene-bridged biscyclam is described; strong electrostatic intera ctions in the binuclear metal complexes (M = Ni, Cu) are electrochemically detected.
