Abstract
We present channel by channel calculations for the transition matrix elemen ts of both coherent and incoherent rates of the exotic neutrinoless mu(-)-- >e(-) conversion in Al-27. This nucleus has recently been employed as a tar get in the MECO experiment at Brookhaven with the aim to search for lepton flavor violating events with a sensitivity of 10(-17) leading to very sever e constraints for the flavor violation parameters when using our calculated transition matrix elements.
