Abstract
We note that off the quark mass shell the operators (p(i) + p(f))(mu)gamma( 5) and i sigma(mu nu)(p(i)-p(f))(nu)gamma 5, both of which reduce to -<(sig ma)over right arrow>.(E) over right arrow in the nonrelativistic limit, are no longer identical. In this paper we explore the effects of this differen ce in the contribution of these quark electric moments to hadronic electric moments. [S0556-2813(99)00712-8].
