Vp. Lakhin et Ss. Moiseev, On spontaneous amplification of large-scale perturbations by two-dimensional electron magnetohydrodynamic turbulence, PHYS LETT A, 263(4-6), 1999, pp. 386-392
The influence of small-scale turbulence on large-scale perturbations is stu
died in the model of 3-D electron magnetohydrodynamics (EMHD), in which the
magnetic field has all three components. it is shown that in addition to p
ositive turbulent viscosity and an analogue of alpha-effect caused by helic
ity of turbulence, which are typical to 3-D EMHD turbulence, such 2-D turbu
lence results in turbulent resistivity, which is caused by anisotropy of tu
rbulence and can be negative. (C) 1999 Published by Elsevier Science B.V. A
